Take time to explore the "FREEBIES" Page (link to the left of this post) for lots of great offers. Use this page as a resource as you plan your shopping trips and/or after you have already purchased items. You will find the products listed alphabetically and I will begin to place "NEW" beside listings so you can quickly spot additions. You will find the following types of offers on this page:
Samples
Click on the link and enter your name, address, email address, etc. and receive a free sample of the product in your mail box. Not only is it fun to be something in the mail, you will be well stocked with travel-sized shampoo, lotion and more. These are great for travel or can be donated to a homeless ministry, shelter, pregnancy resource center or other charity. Some may be suitable for Christmas stockings or Operation Christmas Child. As an added bonus, many of these items come with coupons for full-sized products. These coupons usually have a much longer expiration date than those from the Sunday inserts and may have a higher dollar value. If you are concerned about getting too many spam messages in your in-box, you may want to set up a free email account (Gmail or Yahoo), specifically for these offers.
Try Me Free (TMF)
Try Me Free Mail In Rebates are self-descriptive. For one reason or another, the manufacturer wants you
to try a specific product. Regardless of your satisfaction level, you can send in the product UPC, the cash register receipt and any other required items and receive a check in the mail. TMF offers listed on this page are available with printable online form. Additional TMF offers are usually available in select stores. Whenever I am aware of availability in our area, I post the offer with the current "Shopping List" for this particular store.
Money Back Guarantee or Satisfaction Guarantee (G)
Guarantees (Money Back, Satisfaction, Leak Guard...) are an effort to get you to try a different product from the ones you normally use. Manufactures are sure their products are superior to (or at least as good as) your current brand, but they know you may be a loyal consumer. To entice your business, a company may boldly advertise a "Guarantee", hoping you will try it's toilet paper, diapers, hair color or other product. Feel free to purchase this item and even use a coupon for the product, if one is available. Take it home and try it out. If the product doesn't completely satisfy you, print the form, send in the required UPC, receipt or other items and wait for a check in the mail. For your convenience, I try to remind you of Guarantee offers as I type up each week's "Shopping Lists".
One final note, virtually all products are guaranteed. If I am unhappy with an item, I call the number on the package or send a short letter describing my concern. Often, my efforts are rewarded with product coupons. (FREE peanut butter coupons, after complaining that the company reduced the number of ounces in the jar. FREE ice cream coupons after mailing in a nut shell from a carton of Butter Pecan. FREE breaded chicken coupons after mailing in a few bone fragments from a nugget.)
Mail-In Rebates (MIR)
The Mail-In Rebates listed here are printable, on-line offers. Hopefully, this list will enable you to quickly locate offers without having to search! You will find additional MIR offers at Rite Aid (Single Check Rebate), Office Supply Stores (Office Depot, Office Max and Staples) and occasionally at Department Stores (Kohl's and Bed, Bath and Beyond, Sears). Be sure to follow all specific requirements. Often MIR Offers are for a higher dollar amount, so it is prudent to make copies of your submission prior to mailing.
