Ingredients:
- Popped Popcorn (Microwave popped is fine, however kernels cooked on the stove are often cheaper. Add salt if using "homemade" popcorn.)
- Chocolate candy (use clearance Halloween candy, if desired) or candy making bar (from Sam's Club)
Pop corn as per instructions on package. Melt chocolate using a double boiler (water should simmer, not boil) or in the microwave (using 1/2 power, stirring every 20 seconds.) Remove un-popped kernels from popcorn, then place a few cups in a large bowl. Pour chocolate over corn. Stir gently to avoid breaking up popcorn. Add more popcorn, stirring after each addition, until there is a thin, even coat of chocolate over each piece. Transfer to baking sheets lined with wax paper (or gently sprayed with cooking oil). Allow to harden completely prior to transferring to serving dishes or clear, cello bags.
NOTE: Feel free to add nuts (or use candy with nuts in it), if desired
