Use manufacture coupons to save even more
i.e. Spend $25 before taxes, redeem $5/$25 IP, then hand over manufacture coupons. (A couple of weeks ago, my total was $26 before coupons and $16.81 after.)
NOTE: Manufacture coupons are considered legal tender, so it's perfectly OK to redeem the $5/$25 IP first....the manufacture is paying a portion of your total. Store coupons would have to be redeemed BEFORE the $5/$25 IP.
