Final Note: Store closings tend to draw a big crowd, so retailers take advantage of this by offering store-wide discounts that gradually increase, as inventory decreases. For example, after college, I worked at a retailer that declared bankruptcy. The day before the press release, the rack of clearance clothing was an additional 50% off....the day after only 10% off. Surprisingly, the rack was ignored at 50% off and swamped by customers at 10% off!
You may see items go to 10% off immediately, which is NOT a great deal if the same item is cheaper online or at another retailer. Know your prices before entering the store to be sure you are getting the best deal. Also, expect "All Sales Final"...i.e. no returns.
