Dollar General has not increased prices on most items as quickly as Walmart and many grocery stores have. Lots of store-brand items are still $1 - $1.15. (Use the printable coupon to get a 20% savings, which is equivalent to getting 25 $1 items for $.80 each.) This is also a great opportunity to pick up some items for the Lamb's Basket (or other food pantry). Donations have dropped, and requests for food have increased to the point individuals have been turned away.

*By comparison, this price is only $.15 more than the same item at the Dollar Tree, yet contains twice as many crackers (compared to the 2-ct package at the competitor). Also, note a single box of crackers would help four families. The Lamb's Basket would distribute one sleeve of crackers at a time, not the entire box.
