Coupon Mom

You may have noticed I haven't posted much since my huge Food Lion shopping trip.  Honestly, I haven't done any major shopping since Food Lion closed.  (Other than to pick up milk and produce and/or use up earned rewards.)  I've spent some of the time I would have been in the stores reading Stephanie Nelson's book The Coupon Mom's Guide to Cutting Your Grocery Budget in Half.  Although I did not glean any tips to saving big bucks at the store, I was encouraged to check out her website HERE.  All I can say is, "WOW!"  She has done a super job of rounding up volunteers, who search high and low for the best deals.  Even though I am capable of hunting down a bargain, there is no way I could ever make such detailed lists!

Take the time to look at her website.  You'll find:

  • Free printable shopping lists for all national stores in our area (you will not find anything for Martin's, nor Tom Leonard's)
  • Lots of freebies (items are listed by store, with sales offering the biggest discount listed first)
  • Opportunities to snag items for charities
Best of all, the website is free to join!  (No gimmick here.  This is not a trial offer, just a free place to find the best deals.)  You can even sign-up to be alerted to new offers at specific stores!

The book is available through the Henrico County Public Library.
