Short Pump Target and Walmart have LOTS of candy @ 50% off.
Either (or both) could go to 75% off as early as Friday.
Use clearance items to:
- Satisfy a sweet tooth. Look for your favorite items and stock-up to last a couple of months.
- Fill Operation Christmas Child Boxes. Both hard candy and gum can be placed in zipper-type bags and added to these.
- Stock up on "Christmas" Candy. (Transfer candies with plain wrappers into clear goody bags to distribute as gifts or party favors.)
- Get some baking supplies. (Chocolate bars can be chopped up and used when baking. Multi-colored candies can be used to decorate gingerbread houses.)
- Plan for party favors. (For example: green, black, orange and pink gel bracelets may be packaged together. Add black and pink ones to goody bags for a Rock and Roll birthday party. Slip green and orange ones into goody bags when you daughter has a Luau party.)
- Purchase princess costumes for your daughter's dress-up box. (Save for a Christmas or birthday gift.)
