Poppycock

Make a batch of this super delicious caramel corn to fill gift baskets or serve to guests.  Warning, you'll be tempted to eat the entire batch prior to gift giving!

Ingredients:
4 qt popped corn
1 c pecans
1 c almonds
1 1/3 c sugar
1 c margarine
½ c corn syrup
½ t cream of tarter
½ t baking soda
1 t vanilla
Butter stock-pot and 2 baking sheets.  Combine sugar, margarine, corn syrup and cream of tarter in pot and heat over medium-high to 295 degrees.  Stir often.  As this mixture cooks, combine nuts and popcorn in large bowl.  Remove candy syrup from stove and add baking soda and vanilla.  Stir and pour over popcorn and nuts.  Stir mixture and pour onto baking sheets.  When cool, break into pieces and store in air-tight containers.
